The Goat: sureVIVE’s unofficial mascot

October is almost over, but we couldn’t wrap up our birthday month without introducing a new, unexpected member of the family: The Goat.  Alright, we admit it — more than the company’s official mascot, it’s become the mascot of our marketing team… and a little bit of the CEO’s too. 

It all started as a joke.  Whenever the day got too intense, we’d share funny goat videos 🐐

Then it escalated: whoever spotted a goat while traveling would immediately snap a photo and share it with everyone. 

Soon our archives filled up with curious stories:  

• goats blocking traffic in Norway,  

• goats grazing peacefully in the fields,  

• goats rescued from ridiculous situations,  

• even goat statues spotted in the most unlikely places. 

  
  

At some point, we realized the Goat wasn’t just an excuse to laugh.  It’s an animal that moves where there seems to be no path, climbs from calm meadows to steep cliffs without hesitation.  

It’s determined: if it thinks the grass on top is tastier... it climbs up.  And sometimes it stumbles, but it gets back up and keeps going. 

We noticed that this stubbornness, this ability to keep going and look for new paths, reflects who we are.  We at sureVIVE also take new roads — sometimes we trip (we’re not exactly mountain goats!), but we always find a way to get back up and keep moving forward. 

🎉 The birthday as a special moment  

So, for our birthday, we decided to officially introduce the Goat to our colleagues.  We launched a team game to choose its name — a fun way to laugh together, switch off for a bit, and recharge… so we can push even harder when it’s time. 

🥁 Drum roll...  And finally, our little goat has a name: Alfredo! 🐐🎉 

Between laughter and brainstorming sessions, the Goat became our unofficial mascot.  Not just a funny symbol, but a reminder of what it means to believe in projects, never give up, and face uphill climbs with a touch of humor. 

✨ And now… you might even spot it at trade fairs.
