Background and Purpose of the Sponsorship Agreement

The established collaboration between Seilbahnen Schweiz (SBS) and sureVIVE AG is gaining a new strategic dimension with the signing of a sponsorship agreement. sureVIVE is now acting as an official sponsor of SBS, building on its existing role as an industry partner. The agreement aims to provide digital support to mountain railway personnel as well as piste and rescue services in the event of accidents and evacuations. A particular focus lies on digital integration into the rescue chain — in line with the “Rescue Switzerland 2034” vision of the Interassociation for Rescue Services (IVR) — and on the optimisation of processes in mountain railway rescue operations through technological innovation and operational networking.

About Seilbahnen Schweiz (SBS)

Seilbahnen Schweiz (SBS) is the association of the Swiss cableway industry. The sector organisation has around 350 ordinary members from all regions of the country, represents their shared concerns and interests, and promotes collaboration among them. This results in a broad spectrum of activities, ranging from representation before authorities to member consulting and public relations. This also includes the training of staff in piste and rescue services as well as ensuring the duty of safety, which guarantees the highest possible safety on ski slopes and summer facilities operated by cableway companies. Seilbahnen Schweiz is headquartered in Bern and also operates a training centre in Meiringen in the Bernese Oberland.
